• Exfoliate Well *Shave or Wax Legs 
•  Don't apply ANY Lotions prior to your tan
•  Decide how you would like to tan (nude, disposible undies or a dark old bathing suit. 
• Be prepared to hang out for at least 30 minutes to fully dry after your tan. Don't workout, shower, or go running around in the rain for at least 7 hours after your tan to allow your tan to continue processing.   Don't do dishes for at least 2 hours if you can help it.  
• Wear dark, loose clothing after your tan until you shower, along with dark sheets on your bed if possible. If it does rub off on anything do know it will wash out.                                                                  

Be prepared to hang out for at least 20 minutes to fully dry after your tan. 

 * Don't workout, shower, or go running around in the rain for at least 6 hours after your tan to allow your tan to continue processing. 

 * Wear dark, loose clothing after your tan until you shower, along with dark sheets on your bed if possible. If it does rub off on anything do know it will wash out.    

* Excess color will wash off during the first shower is normal: this is only the color guide tint. (bronzer)  

* Pat, don’t rub skin dry.

* Apply Moorea Moisturizer Shea Butter Lotion that will not eat your airbrush tan off orTahitian Tan Extender to extend the life of your tan. 

* Avoid exfoliating skin. Some products can cause faster fading – bar soaps, alcohol based products such as toners and astringents, products that cause exfoliation such as AHAs, BHAs, Retin-A, etc. (anti-aging, anti-acne, regenerating, renewing) Make sure that you shave with a sharp razor to avoid exfoliating skin.

* Hot tubs, swimming pools, and even extended time in the ocean will take off your tan. In which case if you are going to be doing these activities I would recommend buying Tahitian Tanning Mist.
